Bumblebee Landing on Blueberry Blossoms

An Eastern Bumblebee hovers just above a cluster of blueberry blossoms, wings blurred in motion against a smooth golden-green bokeh. Captured at 1051mm effective focal length with a Sigma 300-600mm f/4 and 2x teleconverter on the Leica SL3, the tight framing isolates the bee mid-approach while the pendant-shaped flowers anchor the lower frame. Shot at f/9 with ISO 8000 and a 1/4000s shutter speed — fast enough to freeze the body but let the wingbeats soften into translucent arcs.
