Hi! I'm Konrad. I am a recent convert to the Leica stable, which has rekindled my love of photography and motivated me to create this site. I've been shooting for the last ~20 years. My first "real" DSLRs were from the Canon ecosystem. I then moved to Sony for a few years, before moving to Leica.
I'm totally smitten with the modern Leica's color retention, micro-contrast, and tonality.
Photography, for me, is about seeing—not just capturing. I don’t chase perfection; I chase authenticity. Through Tonal Photo, my goal is to present the world as it is, embracing the natural light, colors, and tonal depth of each scene. I avoid heavy post-processing, allowing the inherent character of an image to shine.
My work spans landscapes, abstract compositions, and urban photography, but the common thread is storytelling. Every frame invites the viewer into a quiet moment, a fleeting shadow, or a play of light that might otherwise go unnoticed. I work with both color and black & white photography, using minimal adjustments to highlight the subtle textures and emotions within an image.
Tonal Photo is about more than just pictures—it’s about presence, perception, and the beauty of the understated.
